When you have had your baby
you will probably be keen to get back into some of the clothes you loved before you became pregnant. Weight loss after pregnancy isn't instant, and it can be more difficult for some mothers than others.
A good start to losing weight after pregnancy is to take a look at your diet. You won't need as many calories now you are only eating for one again! You will naturally become more active than you were in the later stages of pregnancy;
Looking after baby is exercise in itself. Other exercise after pregnancy could include pushing the baby buggy around your local park.
Exercise such as swimming can help you regain the firm tone you had before baby came along.
There are often classes at local gyms for women who have just given
birth. Many gyms have creche facilities also, and doing a class can be
a great way of socialising with other new moms.
